Four reasons to choose luxury vinyl flooring

Just because it has the word “luxury” in it doesn’t mean this vinyl flooring is expensive or high maintenance. Find out why it’s being chosen for every room in the house.

Wakulla Carpet Brokers has been in business since 1992. We’re owners Curt and Wanda Daniels and we want to become your one-source shopping for all your flooring needs.

Curt, especially, knows his way around this business, having been in the industry for over 40 years.

Our inventory is robust, and we carry every type of flooring. When you walk into the flooring store you’ll be overwhelmed at the virtually limitless number of colors, patterns, and designs of this vinyl. Treat yourself to some luxury and see for yourself.

Our showroom is in Crawfordville, FL and we serve Tallahassee, East Point, Fort St Joe, St. George Island and Monticello. We offer a free in-home measurement.

Standard vs Luxury vinyl

Until this came to the market, tile was pretty much the only choice ifyou wanted something completely impervious to water. While standard vinyl was strongly praised for its water resistance, it wasn’t completely waterproof.

The luxury version of vinyl is an upgrade and offers a flooring that's not only watertight but also thicker than the original version.

High design

t's so stylish it's now used in almost any room in the house, from the living area to bedroom. We're also seeing it in some of the more expensive homes.

Style makes it so appropriate for these installations. An incredibly realistic simulation of wood, tile or stone, it comes in an assortment of species, colors, patterns, and designs.

While it can be bought in a sheet, it can also be cut into planks or tile-sized pieces; the seams give it even more authenticity and some even go so far as to use grout with the tiles.Embossing gives it textured appearances, such as wire-brushed, hand scraped, weather or distressed.

Other benefits include:

  • Durability. This is a layered product, with the top one being a strong clear wear sheet that protects against stains, scratches, and scuffs.
  • Easy to maintain. Sweep and mop!
  • Affordability. You won’t pay even close to the price of natural materials, such as wood and stone.
